IPhone Features you May Not Know

IPhone Features you May Not Know

With the iPhone 11, 11 PRO and 11 PRO MAX being released, now may be the right time to your way around your new phone. If you think that you know all the features of your iPhone device? Maybe you are right, but rest assured that it always has more secrets for you. This is for the experts, the super-geeks and the IPhone lovers.

I see around me that most iPhone owners do not know certain features and are thrilled when they are discovered. Of course, in this list, it would be astonishing if you already know the ones we are writing about, but it could however be that two or three of them are completely foreign to you.

Have your emails read by SIRI

If you are in a car, or got your hands busy with something: SIRI is there to do the job. Launch the application and say by articulating well “Read my emails”. And a list of your latest emails appears on the screen, while SIRI reads them aloud. Be careful, it only states the headers, not the content of the emails.

Block correspondents

If you no longer want to receive calls from those who harass you regularly, whether by phone or text, you can block them. To do this, go to Settings> Phone> Blocked numbers, and select the people you want to block. If the person becomes less annoying and you decide to unblock them, return to the list of blocked numbers, and slide your finger on it from right to left.

Shake your iPhone to undo a previous action

Want to erase text you’ve just entered or discard changes to a photo? Nothing could be simpler, shake your device and it’s done.

Format text in an email

This feature is well hidden. When you are writing an email, did you know that you can apply three formatting changes? To do this, select the piece of text you want to modify, and then in the black bar that appears, click the right arrow. A small menu appears with three icons that allow you to choose from Bold, Italic or Underlined.

Expressive or animated faces

The new iPhone 10 for example supports 12 live emojis, which can be controlled via face movements, and the user can record his voice and add it to the emoji, to send to his friends and the rest of the other users.

This Emoji features depends heavily on the front camera as well as the facial recognition technology in the new iPhone to convert the user’s impressions to “animoji” A face to express or send an impression to a friend, and the icons also contain the user’s voice in addition to his face movement.

Fast Charge

The fast charging feature is available on the IPhone 11 just like the iPhone 10 and 10 Plus, and this feature increases the battery life of the device, as it allows 50% of the phone’s battery to be charged within 30 minutes only.

A reminder to call someone back.

If someone calls you and you are unable to answer, you can ask your iPhone to schedule a reminder later. Click on Reminder above the Refuse button and choose the appropriate time. Your iPhone can even use geolocation to schedule this reminder only when you get home.

Spotlight: a good habit to take

If you are one of those many users who are unable to sort their applications, this feature is for you! Instead of rummaging through the dozens of pages on your home screen, simply swipe your finger across the screen from top to bottom on any of these pages to deploy Spotlight. Type the first letters of the desired application and … voila!

Hide unused apps

If you’re not interested in the Compass app for example, you can make it disappear from your IPhone. Indeed, some apps can be deleted just like those downloaded from the App Store. Hold down your finger on their icon and click Delete. The application can then be retrieved from the App Store. Small downside however: this manipulation does not free any space. The application is no longer displayed but remains installed on your device.
